The Department of Technology and Vocational Education has X3part-time Lecturer positions available at Soshanguve North Campus, the posts are as follows:

Part-Time Lecturer X3 Faculty of Humanities Soshanguve North Campus

  1. English (LLE105P, LLE205P plus Isizulu (LZL40P)1 Post
  2. English (LLE105D) 1 post
  3. Tswana (LTA405P) 1 post

Critical Performance Areas

  • Teach the foundations of English, Isizulu, and Tswana language and situational learning at the Diploma and B.Ed. SP/FET programs
  • Compile a study guide according to the prescribed level descriptors for this subject.
  • Participate in departmental administration activities which include compiling three examination papers, compiling continuous assessment activities and tests, marking scripts, entering marks on ITS, and giving prompt student feedback.
  • Assist with students’ queries related to the subject.
  • Promote ethics, excellence, and quality in teaching and learning.

Minimum Requirements

 Academic qualifications

  • A master’s degree in language


  • Three years of teaching experience in education.
  • Knowledge in teaching English/Isizulu and Tswana language, which includes technology-assisted methods.
