The Department of Informatics requires six Part-time lecturers at the Soshanguve South Campus.

Subject Descriptions, level, and time of offering Diploma in Informatics – During the week (6 Posts)

  • BCMF05D – Business Cost Management (Foundation)
  • BFSF05D – Business Fundaments (Foundation)
  • BUB216D – Business Analysis B
  • DBB216D – Database Management Systems B
  • SYB216D – System Analysis B
  • ITP216D -IT Project Management

TUT Part Time Lecturer X6 Faculty of ICT Soshanguve South Campus

Key Performance Areas

  • Preparing all lecture materials, assessments, and memorandums for related subjects.
  • Preparing lectures and assessing students registered for the subject.
  • Performing administration of marks and other related administrative duties under the subject head, Section Head, and HOD supervision.
  • Attend staff and subject meetings
  • Adhere to the due dates set by the Section Head.

Minimum Requirements

Academic qualifications and others

  • B Tech or Advanced Diploma in Informatics and relevant undergraduate qualification (diploma/degree) in Information Systems or Business Analysis is a prerequisite.
  • Candidates must be able to travel to campus during the week on short notice and or be available for face-to-face classes and assessments five days a week


  • One year of relevant working experience in a tertiary environment and Industry experience in the field of Informatics.
