According to FEBE’s theme, “Keep Pushing Boundaries”, Dr Grace Kanakana-Katumba discussed perseverance and hard work with the new cohorts. “You’re joining a team of experts in their fields who are dynamic and passionate about what they do. We cannot succeed without engineers and professionals in the built environment,” she said.

Students are introduced to TUT academic, social, and cultural environments by the faculty’s orientation programme.

As a student studying in the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, orientation activities are an important part of meeting your fellow students, getting to know the campus, and learning about the services and departments that are essential to your success.
