We seek to hire a Professional Nurse for our Ga-Rankuwa campus as part of the Directorate of Student Affairs and Extracurricular Development.

Critical Performance Areas

• Primary healthcare services for students that include promotion, prevention, curative, and rehabilitative care.
• Educate students and provide them with development talks and seminars on a regular basis.
• Keeping records of patients
• Ensure that various campaigns and projects related to health are promoted by the Health and Wellness staff.
• Disseminate information to the Health and Wellness staff.
• Contribute to the compilation of a manual of standard operating procedures.
• Students and staff can access emergency services.
• Ensure that the Health and Wellness program is monitored and evaluated.
• Providing HIV testing, counseling, and treatment.
• Participate in outreach activities in the community.

 

 

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of 360 credits should be earned by the end of the three-year Nursing qualification at NQF level 6
• Extensive experience in HIV/AIDS services within the last three years
• AIDS Management Certificate
• An application for registration with the South African Nursing Council is required
• Dispenser’s Certificate
