IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE 2023 ACADEMIC YEAR

Please note that these dates are subject to change and are applicable to all students for the 2023 academic year.

JANUARY
9	Commencement of University activities
17	Closing date for exit examination applications
20 – 10 Feb 20 – 17 Feb 20 – 27 20	Scheduled registration Online function will be open for students to register Late application process for programmes where there are still spaces available via late online application system (no walk-ins) Closing date for examination enquiries, applications for re-mark, recount and viewing of examination answer scripts (excluding specific block based programmes)
24 – 27	First-year orientation
30	Start of first term of first semester for first year and returning students Commencement of classes for first year and returning students
31	Closing date for applications for admission for research-based master’s and doctoral programmes
FEBRUARY
6 – 10	Exit and special examinations

26	Last day that students can cancel (year and first-semester modules/subjects and programmes) without being liable for any percentage of the full tuition fee (exclu- ding block-mode and research-based Master’s and Doctoral programmes)
27 – 26 March	Cancellation of first semester modules/subjects and programmes (excluding block- mode and research-based master’s and doctoral programmes) – students liable for 60% of class fees Cancellation of year modules/subjects and programmes (excluding block-mode and research-based master’s and doctoral programmes) – students liable for 30% of class fees
28	Closing date for submission of hard-bound copies for Autumn graduations Closing date for registration of students who wrote exit examination and whose appeals were successful and students on probation who signed contracts (without penalty) Closing date for application for autumn graduation ceremony

APRIL
