Key Performance Areas/ Core Functions
- To co-ordinate and administer the University Capacity Development Programme (UCDP).
- To co-ordinate and administer New Generation of Academics Programme (nGAP), Nurturing Emerging Scholars Programme (NESP).
- Monitor income and expenses of UCDP,NESP and nGap and compile monthly reports;
- Grants Financial Management and Project Management.
- Prioritize and coordinate multiple UCDP, NESP and nGAP projects/activities and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate and liaise with UCDP manager and all role-players in the university.
Minimum requirements
- NQF Level 6
- Project Management, Financial Management, Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce
- (3) Three years relevant qualification
Experience
- University Capacity Development Programme/Grants Financial administration
- Preparation & reconciliation of financial reports for UCDP funded projects
- Presentation of monthly internal financial, costing and project analysis reports for faculty management.
- Resolve faculty UCDP audit findings for financial year-end procedures.
- Compile faculty UCDP narrative audit reports and pre-award experience
- Monitoring and implementing internal controls, policies and procedures for UCDP accounts
- Knowledge and understanding of TUT/Higher Education environment systems and process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ITS iEnabler for processing requisitions.
- Microsoft: MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
